11 Facts You Need to Read About Diana Mabie

Now that I have your attention, I think it's important to state that this will be my one and only Adele reference. I’m sure you’re curious about who this *mysterious* social media expert is.

Well, I’m about to tell you about her. Be prepared though, the below facts might blow your mind. Either way, sit back, relax, and get to know the real me.

Fact #1:

I graduated college with a degree in Visual Communications at the whopping age of 20 years and 268 days. Thank you, Baylor, FiDM, and the lovely quarter system.

Fact #2:

Two years ago, I applied to be on the show, The Bachelor. Okay, maybe it was a parody, but I’m absolutely obsessed. Will you accept this rose? Just kidding. Enjoy the video.

Fact #3:

I’ve lived in seven different apartments within Los Angeles county and five different cities: Downtown LA, Pasadena, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, and Santa Monica. Currently, Santa Monica has been one of the only places I considered home away from Texas, and living alone ranks on the top of things I’ve accomplished. Did I mention I'm from Texas?

Fact #4:

I’ve never had the chicken pox. Trust me, I know. I’m screwed when I have kids of my own.

Fact #5:

On top of obtaining a full time career in the social world, I’m usually attending a community college course to better my skills. Recently, I took a class in Beginner Photography and another in Drawing at Santa Monica College. Speaking of photography, I own a DSLR, Polaroid, and a film-based camera. I’m obsessed.

Fact #6:

I have an extreme interest in the Fashion Industry. Not only did I intern at Nordstrom and attempt to work my way up to becoming a Buyer, but I was a Bridal Consultant in Beverly Hills. I also find great pleasure in creating merchandise displays. Did I mention I can sew? Okay, I’ll stop.

Fact #7:

I’m honest. If you want real feedback, come to me. I also feel that I can easily put myself in someone else’s shoes to understand their perspective just as much as mine.

Fact #8:

My favorite foods are almonds and brussels sprouts. Not together, but separate. I can nearly promise you that I’ll order a side of brussels sprouts or eat anything on the menu with almonds in it. I even recently transitioned from drinking cow milk to almond milk. Take a look at what inspired me to do so.

I’m an expert hobbyist and DIY Queen. AKA. Expert learner of new and odd things. When I’m not at work, you can find me at home trying out something new. Fact #10:

Updating iPhone apps? Not my thing. For whatever reason it is, I despise updating them and will not allow them to automatically update. Personally, I think it’s because I’m stubborn and want control over what is coming and going on my phone, but others might think I’m just lazy (Sorry, jack). The real answer? No one will ever know.

Fact #11:

I’m extremely creative and artistically inclined. Not only was I considered to be in the top 2% of singers in the state of Texas when I was in high school (#TBT… on a Wednesday!), but I have an artistic eye for just about anything.
